There are not enough words to describe how disappointed and betrayed my family feels towards this facility and staff especially after bringing our dog here for nearly 16 years. Long story short, our dog who has an advanced cardiac disease dislocated her leg and our vet advised us to go to a hospital for surgery. We went to one of the recommended hospitals, Schwarzman AMC where they kept our dog for 5 days in the ICU due to the complex state she was in and the risks of surgery. Our dog ended up not getting surgery and was discharged (we ended up paying $9k out of pocket). Following discharge we were advised by AMC to follow up with our primary vet (Petopia), however after several attempts to get in contact they ignored us. They reached out to my mother and disrespectfully and angrily told her that we wasted our money at AMC, that they were given over 40 pages of an after visit summary that stressed out the vet (I don't get why they would get upset at us that the discharge papers were sent to our PRIMARY VET), and seemed like they were upset that we spent all this money at AMC instead of at THEIR office. Most recently my mother went in to the office for refills, they were argumentative, dismissive, condescending, and ultimately told her to never come back. I'm utterly disgusted by this practice. Not only were they rude and obviously money focused, but how can an animal doctor be this heartless/careless to a dog who has been a patient here for 16 years.

We are so grateful for our doctor’s diagnosis and treatment. Within a day or two the infection began resolving. A significant issue which has plagued our family has been resolved due to his insightful approach to medicine.

Please do not come here with your pet. My dog is traumatized after coming here. He avoids going outside now because he thinks we’re taking him to the vet.
