3 days ago THE BEST VET EVER!!! 💯💯💯 Thanks to the awesome Dr. Kim and the super helpful ladies, both my cats have always gotten the best treatment at both locations - Flushing/Long Island. One can tell all the lovely people who work there truly care about animals, it shows. Speaking from my kitten’s recent neuter experience when I had to get an urgent med after returning home, the representative Lorraine went above and beyond in arranging for me to pick the med at my nearby pharmacy instead of going to the LI office which was an hour away and it was after I got Kyle post surgery, so not only she saved my time & money (despite me not even asking for it), she and Dr. Kim also helped ensure Kyle recovers soon with their follow up calls! Also. Dr. Kim and the representative graciously check in with me about both my cats from time to time for any annual follow up appointments, which I really appreciate. NEVER CHANGING THIS VET! So glad to have come across them who consistently demonstrate going above and beyond with their lovely services! 🐾

I thought this clinic had decent services in the beginning when I first came last year. I didn’t mind some of the bad reviews or that the doctor never talks to the patients until recently. There was miscommunication about the exams I ordered or requested for my dog and they didn’t care that I paid twice for the same exam within 2 weeks. They claimed they needed the first of the same exam to give me a preventative medication, which doesn’t ever need any bloodwork at any other clinic. It’s PREVENTATIVE medication, I guess they don’t understand what that word means. Then they mentioned my mother for some odd reason, saying that they noted me talking to my mother about how expensive the medicine is, which is really unprofessional.

I have been taking multiple pets to this veterinary clinics for close to two decades now. I always loved them for their fair pricing, friendly staff, and most importantly, a veterinarian who, although is very soft-spoken, made me feel heard and cared for. He would patiently listen to my concerns and address my questions without making me feel rushed. However, everything changed for the worst during COVID. The way they operate their clinic has changed immensely. It was understandable that at the time (due to social distancing and precautions), pet owners were not allowed in the exam rooms when their pets were being examined and vaccinated. Even though it's been many years since COVID precautions and social distancing have been lifted, they have continued this restriction. Pet owners are NOT allowed to be present in the exam rooms for a simple wellness check up or vaccination appointment. One of the veterinary assistants do all the intake interview out in the waiting room for everyone to hear while a second veterinary assistant comes and takes your pet inside to do vitals and such. Then your pet isn't brought back out until the exam and vaccinations are over. When I made several requests to speak to the doctor or to simply just be present in the exam room with my pet, they always gave me the run around and thought of ways to dodge the question and say that they can ask the doctor on our behalf. Like many of the other posts mention, are we expected to blindly trust that the staff/vet is examining my pet and providing the requested vaccinations and treatments? Why is it so hard to talk to the doctor? Or simply see with my own two eyes what is being done to my pet? It's equivalent to being forced to wait in the waiting area while a hospital staff member takes your child to an exam room to be examined and treated without your presence. What parent would be okay with that? It isn't any different when it's a pet vs. a human child. It's as if they're trying to protect the veterinarian at all costs from having ANY human interaction. Why though? What are you guys hiding? Why can't we meet the vet and have a normal pet parent to doctor conversation? Due to this reason, I have left this clinic and took my pets and my business elsewhere. I asked around many other vet offices and not a single one doesn't allow pet owners to be present in the exam rooms. They all agreed that this restriction is odd. This vet clinic is sketchy and suspicious. To new customers, stay away from this place. Find another vet. To old customers, I wouldn't accept this as normal and question their practices. Find another vet. It is not okay to not let pet owners be present with their pets in the exam room. And I am not talking about treatment rooms, because those two are different. I wish I could give this place 0 stars.

The doctor seems cold and unbearable. Staff look overworked and overwhelmed. I wanted a private conversation with the doctor about something sensitive. I don’t understand why staff had to be there. Go to VCG instead.
