*Update* i got a call for vaccines and found out that there is a new owner, girls seem sweet over the phone but I wouldn’t come back after the way my pet was treated by letty the “dentist” I dont want to leave my full info because i dont want to be contacted about this moving forward or get a rude response like the others. I brought my cat into here for the first time for a dental on December now it was my first time there but the place looked old and the door didnt work. I went to the staff in the front the girl had reddish hair and was loud. She didnt even let me speak about what i am here for and seemed very out of sorts at first. I kept quiet thinking that maybe thats her personality but she practically dismissed me even though was my first time. She confused me with i guess someone who missed the appointment and finally gave me a new client form. When i told her i have never been there she gave me an attitude which made me uncomfortable. The doctor was very nice in the room but the had the same girl in the front be with the doctor and i didnt like that she grabbed my pet aggressively from me and held her down so hard i asked if she couldnt and she got very too close for comfort and said thats my job, her breath did smell like faint alcohol but it could have been like mouth wash. The doctor explained that my cats issue was dental related and she should receive the dental and thats when the red headed girl interrupted the doctor to introduce herself as letty and that she was the dentist and that she handles dentals and she has seen my cats issue in others and she always does this. She said a tooth needed to be removed i looked at the doctor who remained quiet. I didnt know dentists run the front desk and hold any patients as well as do the dentals, she then grabbed my cat and aggressively put my pet in the carrier which i asked her not to and that i could do it. I spoke to the doctor he told that he is the one that does the dentals and i trusted him l. I left my cat to get the procedure done but when i came back for pick up i asked the doctor if any teeth were removed and he didnt answer.. the assistant letty told me shes removed 2 teeth and why but the doctor told me she was a assistant but yet she told me shes a dentist, i found this alarming. Her breath smelled more like alcohol and it confirmed my suspicions and it made sense why she was so out landish in the beginning.

Dr. Shata is truly one of the kindest and most compassionate doctors I have ever met. He left such a strong, positive impression on both my family and me. From the very beginning, he was incredibly attentive, patient, and thorough. Taking the time to answer all of our questions and making sure both my dad and I fully understood everything. When my dog had an upset stomach and a reaction to a vaccine (which is normal, it happens), Dr. Shata went above and beyond in every way. He stayed with us, closely monitored the situation, and made sure our dog received the proper medications and tests. You could genuinely tell how much he cared—he even encouraged us to stay longer just to ensure everything was okay, and later followed up with a call to check on our dog. That level of concern and dedication is so rare. It’s clear that Dr. Shata truly cares about his little patients and their families. I have never met such a kind and dedicated doctor, and I completely trust him with my dog. I will absolutely continue coming back and highly recommend him to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care.

Went to get my dog vaccinated and the vet was very sweet! And handled my pet very well when she was anxious. Definitely returning again.

I had a really upsetting experience with Saint Mark Animal Clinic. They do not keep their Google hours updated, which caused a terrible situation for me during an already painful moment. I called ahead while I was at home with my deceased dog to ask if I could come in for cremation. They told me yes and said to come in. When I arrived, the clinic was completely closed. No staff, no explanation, nothing. I called again and was told they would be there in about half an hour. I waited, called again after that time passed, and then they said they were running late. Meanwhile, I was left standing outside in the street with my dog, not knowing what to do. This was incredibly distressing and felt extremely disrespectful. In moments like this, people rely on basic communication and professionalism, and this clinic failed completely. At the very least, they should keep their hours updated and not tell clients to come in if no one will be there.
